Terms of Service

1.     We recommend that you use safe sleeping practices at all times per the Lullaby Trust Safer Sleep advice.

 

2.     Any information provided to you is for your personal use only and may not be shared, copied or distributed in any way.

 

3.     Your privacy is critical to us. BABY SLEEP SOCIETY respect your privacy and comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policies and guidelines which came into effect on 25th May 2018 with the purpose of protecting the rights to privacy of all citizens. Where you supply personal information to us so that we can provide services to you, BABY SLEEP SOCIETY will comply with our obligations imposed by Data Protection Laws as follows:

  • Before or at the time of collecting personal data will identify the purposes for which the information is being collected. Never would we share that data with any third parties or outside organisations or suppliers.

  • We will only process personal data for the purposes identified.

  • We will respect your rights in relation to your personal data and we will implement technical and organisation measures to ensure your personal data is secure.

If you wish for us to delete your personal information in its entirety, then we will complete this within one month of the request being given. For any enquiries of complaints regarding data privacy you can email hello@babysleepsociety.com.

 

4.     The information provided to you should not be substituted for professional medical advice. If you are concerned about your child’s health or need further advice regarding a specific medical condition then please consult your general practitioner, other health provider or, if necessary, contact the relevant emergency services. Any feeding or medical concerns should be expressed in the early consultation stages.

 

5.     The client should be aware that success of the advice and sleep plans provided is not guaranteed, and there will be factors outside of BABY SLEEP SOCIETY’S control that may impact implementation of, and response to, any guidance given. If the client chooses not to follow part of, or all of the information given, then that is at their discretion, but BABY SLEEP SOCIETY will not be held accountable for the service not working in this case. BABY SLEEP SOCIETY are providing a service and payments are based on the service provided rather than the outcome. A refund option is available if the Client is dissatisfied with our service not related to the outcome. Please contact BABY SLEEP SOCIETY at hello@babysleepsociety.com for further details.

 

6.     On occasion we may need to cancel or rearrange consultations or organised sleep support sessions due to unforeseen circumstances or emergency circumstances. We reserve the right to do this but will ensure we can provide as much notice as possible depending on the situation.

 

7.     BABY SLEEP SOCIETY holds a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellation or rearrangement of consultations must take place more than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If we are informed of any changes within 24 hours prior to your appointment and the client chooses to cancel and not re-book, then they will be refunded 50% of the full price.

 

8.     BABY SLEEP SOCIETY acknowledges that when working with children there can be situations where consultations need to be cancelled to due illness. If this is the case, there will be no cancellation fee as long as the same service is booked for a later date.

 

9.     BABY SLEEP SOCIETY will discuss the frequency of ‘check-ins’ with you during your consultation. This will be dependent on the length of your support period and based on the client’s preference (e.g., BABY SLEEP SOCIETY can initiate contact/check-ins or client may prefer to initiate contact/check-in). Depending on the package purchased, you may have a support period whereby one of our sleep coaches will support you via WhatsApp. We will always endeavour to answer any questions as quickly as possible within the contact time of 8:00 to 20:00 (Monday-Friday) and Saturdays 9:00 to 18:00, but please allow up to four hours for a response. BABY SLEEP SOCIETY reserve the right to breach this response time in the case of an emergency or other unforeseen circumstance which we will endeavour to make known to the client as soon as possible.

 

10.  The support period associated with the chosen package is non-refundable and commences on a mutually agreed date between the client and BABY SLEEP SOCIETY. If the support period is not used by the client then no refund will be available.
