“I was preparing to go back to work and was really struggling with my son's sleep pattern in addition to trying to wean him off breastfeeding. I was pretty desperate when I reached out to Helen and Cora. They took the time to understand my situation and my routine and this was evident when I received their personalised plan. The process was clear to understand and I particularly liked that each recommendation was backed up with an explanation as to why I was doing it. All of my concerns were individually addressed. The "cheat sheet" was brilliant and I referred to this time and time again. More importantly I was made to feel in control of the situation and I felt like I could check in with Helen and Cora at any point when I needed support. The end result was fantastic, by using Baby Sleep Society's methods my son's sleeping improved drastically and I was able to wean him off the night feeds. “Our 14-month old was waking 5-6 times a night, I had returned to work after my maternity leave and we were all struggling a bit on such broken sleep. Helen and Cora listened and we felt they really thought about us as a family and about our parenting style. After our initial chat, they sent through our sleep plan. This completely put us at ease. All the suggestions were clear and well explained and we really liked how everything was very clearly broken down into sections. So many sections rang true and the quick wins meant that we felt ready and able to get started the next day. Some things helped almost immediately and other changes took more time but we were supported all the way via WhatsApp and in our catch up phone calls. “Helen and Cora have, in short, saved our lives. We were really struggling with our 20 month-old twins' sleep, to the extent that we had fallen into a cope-first pattern that wasn't helping any of us tackle the underlying issues, and more often than not we were all awake several times a night. This was having a huge impact on our work, familial relationships and abilities to cope with the various challenges everyday life throws at us.

After several weeks where the situation just kept getting worse and we were beyond our wits' end, we turned to Helen and Cora following a recommendation from a friend. We provided as much information as we could to them (it was actually quite scary and extremely depressing seeing our nightly 'routine' written down in black and white), and then had a call with them over Zoom where they talked through their recommendations. They were completely non-judgemental, extremely caring, kind, thorough and analytical in their approach, and presented us with a couple of different options to help us figure out the best way to implement their recommendations.

Depsite this reassurance, we were still slightly anxious about how well their plan would work, but the results were literally remarkable (as in, we genuinely couldn't stop telling people what a difference it had made). Within two nights one of our children was sleeping through, and the other had reduced to one wake up. After 4 days, we had our first uninterupted night's sleep in nearly two years, which was an experience bordering on the transcendental.

Throughout this process, Helen and Cora have been unwavering in their support via WhatsApp, checking in regularly, offering tips, encouragement and reassurance, while never being pushy or smug.

To anyone going through child-induced sleep deprivation, it can feel like a very lonely, hopeless place, and an ongoing cycle that has no clear end point. Without the help of The Baby Sleep Society, we would undoubtedly still be stuck in that cycle today.

Helen was great in helping us transitioning our almost 1 year old baby from waking once or twice per night to sleeping through the night. What a change! We went for the single consultation, rather than the longer programme, as we had already a lot of "good" practices in place, so we just needed someone to understand/comment on what we were doing and see if we could add a few things to make it work. Her approach was great, she listened to us and gathered all the info and then suggested a series of things we could try to improve our routine, some easier to implement than others! That's exactly what we needed and it worked very well, would definitively recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Helen and Cora have given us the gift of sleep and we could not be more thankful. After a quick consultation Helen recognised that our 6 month old son wasn’t getting the right amount of sleep and helped us with a daytime nap schedule which made a huge difference in just a couple of days. She then gave us a couple of options for how to approach sleep training gently, so we could choose what felt most natural to us as parents and it has worked a treat. We had a little set back due to illness, but Helen gave amazing support when we were ready to get back to a routine and it took under a week to go from having him wake every 40 minutes and all night long to soothing himself to sleep and doing 12 hour stretches every night. Tonight is the 7th night he’s gone down easily in his cot and after months of surviving on the bare minimum we now feel like ourselves again, and we’ve got our evenings back! We’re even managing solo naps in the cot during the day now, which seemed impossible before. It has been so great having some reassurance that we’re doing the right things even when it doesn’t work immediately, I think this is what gave us the confidence to keep going and the consistency has really paid off. Thanks again to both of you, for making us feel human again!
